Brooklyn Nets will face off with the Philadelphia 76ers in the National Basketball Association (
NBA) match on December 17.
This will be the 205th NBA meeting between the two teams in regular-season games since 1976.
The 76ers have dominated this rivalry having registered 118 wins compared to the Nets' 86 victories.

Their last meeting was on 23 October 2021 and the Nets secured a 114-109 victory over the 76ers at the Wells Fargo Center.
The Nets find themselves at the top of the Eastern Conference standings having recorded 19 victories and eight defeats.
They lost 111-107 to Chicago Bulls in their last home game on December 5 and it was their second defeat in their last four games at the Barclays Center.
While the 76ers are placed sixth on the Eastern Conference standings having registered 15 victories and 12 defeats.

The 76ers suffered a 126-91 defeat to Memphis Grizzles in their last away match on December 14 and the defeat ended their four-match unbeaten run on the road.
“Burn the film, throw it away and just move on to the next game,” said 76ers coach Doc Rivers after the defeat to Grizzles.
“I thought the late scratches kind of threw us off. It’s funny because at halftime we were still shooting at 54%, but we couldn’t get stops all night. It was just the theme all night.
"I think they had 100 points going into the fourth quarter. You’re not supposed to win any games like that. So, we’ll move on.”
