2026 Formula 1 World Championship
Singapore Grand Prix
Round 18
Marina Bay Street Circuit
Marina Bay, Singapore
Sunday, 11 October
The 2026 Singapore Grand Prix is back under the floodlights at Marina Bay this weekend, round 18 of the Formula 1 World Championship.
What to know about the Singapore Grand Prix
Marina Bay is a night race built for drama: slow, wall-lined corners, then a flat-out run along the water.
It joined the calendar in 2008 as Formula 1’s first night grand prix and remains one of the season’s hardest street circuits.
Most recent race
Max Verstappen ended his 2026 win drought for Red Bull at the Bahrain Grand Prix in Sepang on 4 October.
Kimi Antonelli was second for Mercedes. Lewis Hamilton took third for Ferrari.
Standings
Kimi Antonelli leads the Drivers’ Championship on 320 points.
George Russell is second on 236, Lewis Hamilton third on 214, Charles Leclerc fourth on 191, while Lando Norris and Max Verstappen are level on 188.
Mercedes still head the Constructors’ Championship, clear of Ferrari and McLaren.
Quotes
“It was an incredible feeling to win in Malaysia and a hugely proud moment for the team, being our first win as a power unit manufacturer. It felt like a long time coming and a special achievement for everyone," Verstappen said ahead of the 2026 Singapore GP.
"We are just trying to keep improving the car every race and hopefully we can continue this good form into Singapore, being the last race of this triple header. I think the win was quite track specific so we will need to see how we go heading into this week.
"I enjoy this track as a street circuit, and it has a lot of corners and is quite bumpy. The heat is obviously a factor but at least we are racing at night race this time around. Singapore is a race that I haven’t won before, so it does feel like unfinished business at this track.”
