The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Fight Night 176 is set to take place at the UFC APEX in Paradise, Nevada, USA on Sunday.

A welterweight bout between Tyron Woodley and Gilbert Burns is expected to headline the event which will take place behind closed doors due to the coronavirus outbreak.

The event was originally expected to take place at The O2 Arena in London, England on15 March 2020, but it was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Former UFC welterweight champion Woodley was scheduled to face Leon Edwards, but the latter pulled out due to the cancellation of the event in London.

American star Woodley is looking to return to winning ways after losing his welterweight title to Nigerian fighter Kamaru Usman at UFC 235 on the 2nd of March 2019.

“This fight in particular with Gilbert Burns is, I’m confident because of who I am and what I’m doing,” Woodley told MMA Junkie Radio.

“I’m aware of what he does, I’m aware of how he is – he’s got a nice little left hook, uppercut, got some knees and flying knees, kicks and punches and calf kicks.

"I haven’t really seen much different from him. I’ve seen his style, and I’ve kind of gotten it broken down, but the element of surprise is a mother(expletive)."
