The 2018 French Grand Prix is scheduled to be held between 22 and 24 June at the Circuit Paul Ricard in Le Castellet, France.
 
This will be the eighth round of this year's Championship and it marks the first time that the French Grand Prix has been run since 2008.

Felipe Massa won the 2008 French Grand Prix as a Ferrari driver and the Brazilian has since retired from Formula One.

Ferrari driver Vettel is oozing with confidence after winning the 2018 Canadian Grand Prix almost two weeks ago with Mercedes driver Valtteri Bottas finishing second.

As a result, German Vettel replaced Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton at the top of the 2018 drivers' championship standings.
 
However, Mercedes remain at the top of the constructors' championship standings - with Ferrari and Red Bull placed second, and third respectively.

Vettel is expected to face stiff competition from Hamilton, Bottas, Red Bull duo Max Verstappen and Daniel Ricciardo.
