South Africa will take on New Zealand in their final match of the 2017 Rugby Championship at the Newlands Rugby Stadium on Saturday. The Springboks drew 27-27 with Australia in their previous match in this competition which was played in Bloemfontein last weekend. The draw extended second-placed South Africa's winless run to three matches in this year's competition having recorded two draws and one defeat. The last time the Springboks tasted victory in the Rugby Championship was against Argentina two months ago when they won 41-23 in Argentina.
Meanwhile, New Zealand secured a 36-10 victory over Argentina in their previous match in this tournament which was played in Buenos Aires last weekend. The victory extended the All Blacks' winning run to five matches in this year's Rugby Championship. The last time New Zealand lost a match in this competition was two years ago. Australia beat the All Blacks 27-19 in Sydney.
