South Africa will take on Pakistan in the fifth match of the ODI Series at the Newlands Cricket Ground on Wednesday, 30 January 2019.

The Proteas are wounded as they lost to the Falcons in the fourth ODI match which was played in Johannesburg on Sunday. 
 
Pakistan levelled the series at 2-2 with an eight-wicket win over South Africa with 111 balls to spare on Sunday. 
 
South African batsman Quinton De Kock, who was playing his 100th ODI, could not lead the Proteas to victory. 
 
The hosts will look to world class batsmen Hashim Amla and Faf du Plessis, who have the ability to inspire the Proteas to victory in fifth ODI match.

Meanwhile, Pakistan are oozing with confidence thanks to Usman Shinwari's excellent display in Gauteng.
 
The left-arm fast bowler's four wickets in six balls gave the Falcons the victory with the visitors having won the toss and elected to field.
 
Fakhar Zaman/Imam-ul-Haq (70) and Babar Azam/Imam (94) formed partnerships which helped Pakistan win.
 
The trio will be looking to play an important role in helping the Falcons secure victory in the final day of the five-match ODI Series.
