South Africa will take on Sri Lanka in the ODI and T20I Series in South Africa between 3 and 24 March 2019.

Proteas are coming off a defeat to Sri Lanka in a two-match Test Series which was played in Durban and Port Elizabeth.
 
The Lions won by 1 wicket at the Kingsmead Cricket Ground, before winning by 8 wickets at the St George's Park. 
 
Dimuth Karunaratne captained Sri Lanka for the first time in Tests, and he also scored his 4,000th run in Test cricket.
 
Wiaan Mulder, who is a 21-year-old South African all-rounder, made his Test debut.

Meanwhile, the five-match ODI Series will be played between 3 and 16 March 2019. 
 
The matches will be played in Johannesburg, Centurion, Durban, Port Elizabeth and Cape Town.
 
The three-match T20I Series will then follow and it is scheduled to be played between 19 and 24 March 2019. 
 
The matches are set to be played in Cape Town, Centurion and Johannesburg.
