Australia will take on South Africa in their third match of the 2018 Rugby Championship at the Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane on Saturday.

The Wallabies lost 40-12 to New Zealand in their previous Rugby Championship match which was played in Auckland over a week ago.
 
This was Australia's fourth successive defeat in all competitions. 
 
The last time the Wallabies won a match in the Rugby Championship was in October 2017. They beat Argentina 37-20 in Mendoza. 

Meanwhile, South Africa lost 32-19 to Argentina in their previous Rugby Championship match which was played in Mendoza over a week ago.
 
This was the Springboks' second defeat in their last five matches in all competitions. 
 
The last time South Africa won a game in the Rugby Championship was in August 2018. They beat Argentina 34-21 in Durban. 
 
The last meeting between Australia and South Africa was the 30th of September 2017.
 
The 2017 Rugby Championship match ended in a 27-27 draw in Bloemfontein.
