Enea Bastianini is looking to sign off in style with Gresini Racing at the Valencian Community Grand Prix on Sunday, November 6.

The Italian will be switching to Ducati Lenovo Team in 2023 alongside Francesco Bagnaia after two years with their satellite team in MotoGP.

Bastianini has enjoyed an outstanding year in the premium class, leading the World Championship in the early stages after building on his maiden win in the Qatar Grand Prix by also claiming victory in the Grand Prix of the Americas.

The 24-year-old also won the French Grand Prix and the Aragon Grand Prix, but just two further podium placings and four retirements have ruined his title chances as he trails Bagnaia by 47 points in fourth place.

He is keen to finish on a high after securing P2 in the Malaysian Grand Prix, having pushed Bagnaia all the way in Sepang. 'The Beast' could still overtake Aprilia Racing's Aleix Espargaro in the riders' standings, with just one point separating them going into the season finale.

"This will be my last race with Team Gresini and I will try to celebrate it the best way possible," Bastianini said. "It will surely be a complex race, with many competitive riders.

"We're on a roll and we know our potential, so we'll try to do well and finish in the world championship top-three."
