The New Orleans Pelicans and the Los Angeles Clippers will be set for an NBA Regular Season thriller at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana on the morning of Saturday 20 November 2021. Tip-off is at 03:00.
The Pelicans have endured a difficult time thus far and find themselves propping up the Western Conference. Many of their issues came to the fore in a 120-112 loss to the Brooklyn Nets this past weekend. New Orleans put up a strong fight against the star-studded Nets, but ultimately came up short yet again.
“It's just tough, man, coming up short like we are," said first-year coach Willie Green, whose team has suffered while waiting for star forward Zion Williamson to come back from off-season foot surgery. "As much as I am proud of our guys, I'm disappointed in the fact that we lost.
“Our margin for error is really small, so we have to take care of the ball and get quality shots every time down the floor. Tonight we competed — most games we compete — but we can't wait until we get down 20.”

The Clippers have recovered from a poor start to the season and have put together a strong run of form in recent times, with this past weekend bringing a 112-109 come-from-behind win over the Miami Heat.
"We're just playing with more flow and pace," said Eric Bledsoe, who is back for his second stint with the Clippers. "We got tons of shooters."
