South Africa’s Wandre Snyman will look to keep up his strong form on the Betway Big Easy Tour when he participates at the Betway Big Easy Blu Label Unlimited Invitational #4, running from 18 to 20 August 2026 at the State Mines Country Club in Ekurhuleni.
Form and Order of Merit:
Snyman is fresh from a tournament triumph at the Betway Big Easy Tour 7 at the Soweto Country Club earlier this month. He shot scores of 68, 71 and 72 for a total of 211 (-5) across the three rounds, before defeating Drikus Joubert in a playoff.
Snyman sits atop the Big Easy Tour of Merit with 807.29 points from 10 tournament appearances. He leads second-placed Jordan Wessels by 118.46 points.
Why Snyman could challenge:
The South African will be hungry to keep himself at the top of the Order of Merit and is in fine form, as demonstrated by his victory in Soweto.
He has steadily improved his performances at the Blu Label Unlimited Invitational tournaments this year, and could see this event as a chance for a further break through in his career.
About the State Mines Country Club:
State Mines Country Club is one of only four championship golf courses within the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan area and is consistently rated amongst the 100 best courses in the country.
Commissioned in 1909 by the State Mines Gold Mining Company as a nine-hole recreational facility for company employees, it was subsequently upgraded to an eighteen-hole course.
