Real Betis will look to start their La Liga campaign strongly when they host Real Sociedad at La Cartuja on 21 August.

Real Betis are expected to be without Diego Conde (shoulder), Abde Ezzalzouli (knee) and Ángel Ortiz (hamstring). Aitor Ruibal has rejoined training after knee surgery but may still be short of full match fitness.
Meanwhile, Real Sociedad are currently without Álvaro Odriozola (ACL), Ander Barrenetxea (groin) and Jon Pacheco (ankle). Jon Gorrotxategi has returned to group training after a groin issue but is still building match sharpness.
