Inter Milan will open the defence of their Serie A title with a Matchday 1 clash against Monza at the iconic San Siro Stadium on the early evening of Saturday 22 August.

Inter finished 11 points clear of nearest chasers Napoli to win the 2025/26 Serie A title, their 21st Scudetto and a third since the start of the 2020s. The Nerazzurri achieved this latest success under the guidance of coach Cristian Chivu.
Inter have boosted their squad with the arrivals of Aleksandar Stankovic, Manuel Akanji, Ivan Provedel and John Stones, while the major departures are Denzel Dumfries and Stefan de Vrij.
Monza finished third in Serie B last term and earned promotion back to the top flight after defeating Juve Stabia and Catanzaro in the promotion playoffs.
Coach Ivan Juric has been tasked with keeping the Biancorossi in the elite league, and they have boosted their squad with the additions of Patrick Cutrone, Gutavo Varela, Foe Ondoa, Lorenzo Lucchesi, Jay Robinson and more in the transfer window.
