Despite mustering a measly two victories from their opening 12 matches in the league this season, Baroka FC find themselves amongst the last four of this season’s Telkom Knockout having picked up the most major of scalps in the previous round as they convincingly beat Mamelodi Sundowns 2-0 to seal their spot in the semi-finals.
Khurishi Mphahlele’s men head into this mammoth encounter off the back of three wins from their last four matches in all competitions having beaten Golden Arrows for the second time in three weeks prior to the international break.

Bidvest Wits have seemingly bounced back from their torrid 2017/18 campaign which saw the Students, as defending ABSA Premiership champions from the season before, struggle their way through most of the season and only narrowly avoid relegation right at the death.
Gavin Hunt’s side currently sit second on the log behind Orlando Pirates and are on the brink of a second successive Telkom Knockout final. The Clever Boys were beaten 2-1 at home by Bloem Celtic in their last outing before the international break, bringing to an end a 5-match unbeaten run in all competitions.
