The
2024 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix is set to take place in the second-largest city in Saudi Arabia, Jeddah on 9 March.
What to know about the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix
The first race took place in 2021 and it was the fifth full-night race title on the Formula One calendar, following the Singapore, Bahrain, Sakhir and Qatar Grands Prix.
The event takes place at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit - the third-longest track on the Formula One calendar, with Spa-Francorchamps and Las Vegas Strip Circuit being longer.

The Bahrain Grand Prix which was round one of the 2024 Formula One World Championship was won by Max Verstappen of Red Bull Racing-Honda RBPT.
His teammate Sergio Perez finished second while Carlos Sainz Jr of Ferrari secured a third-place finish at the Bahrain International Circuit.
Favourites
Having had a great start to the 2024 season by winning the Bahrain Grand Prix, Verstappen is a clear favourite to win the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix.
However, Perez, Sainz Jr, Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc, Aston Martin's Fernando Alonso, and Lewis Hamilton of Mercedes will all be targeting a podium spot in Jeddah.

"It was a disappointing race from my side," Leclerc said after finishing fourth at the 2024 Bahrain Grand Prix.
"There was an issue with the brakes, so I struggled to stay on track, especially in turns 9 and 10.
"We would have had the pace in the car to put up a good fight so I can’t wait to get back in the car in Jeddah."
