South Africa will take on England in the first test match of the Castle Lager Incoming Series at the Emirates Airline Stadium in Johannesburg on Saturday.
 
South Africa seek redemption against England

The Springboks were beaten 22-20 by Wales in a test match which was played in Washington, USA on Saturday.
 
This was South Africa's second consecutive defeat having also to Wales in a test match in December 2017.
 
They have registered three defeats and two wins in their last five matches.

South Africa seek redemption against England

Meanwhile, England suffered a 63-45 defeat to the Barbarians in a test match which was played in London over a week ago.
 
It was the Red Roses' fourth successive defeat in all competitions. 
 
They defeated Wales 12-6 in the Six Nations tournament at home, before enduring a four-match winless run. 
 
The last match between South Africa and England was on the 12th of November 2016.
 
The Red Roses beat the Springboks 37-21 in a test match in London.
