McLaren's Oscar Piastri will be looking to go one better than last year as he targets his maiden Austrian Grand Prix victory on Sunday, June 29.
The Australian started seventh on the grid in 2024, but capitalised on a collision between then-race leader Max Verstappen and Lando Norris to claim P2.
Piastri has enjoyed a stellar 2025 season thus far, finishing on the podium in eight of the opening 10 races and winning the Chinese Grand Prix, Bahrain Grand Prix, Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, Miami Grand Prix and Spanish Grand Prix.

The 24-year-old driver, who is only in his third year in Formula One, has opened up a 22-point lead on Norris in the World Drivers' Championship standings after the Brit crashed out of the Canadian Grand Prix following a collision with his McLaren team-mate on lap 66.
Piastri went on to finish 1.095 seconds outside the podium places in P4 and he insists he's not trying to put any undue pressure on himself, but is just enjoying the experience of fighting for the championship.

"I'm not looking at it as my one chance. Obviously I don't know that, but I don't think there's any use in putting extra pressure on yourself and thinking it's do or die," Piastri said.
"I'm still very early in my career, and obviously it's a great opportunity, but I'll just try and win as many races as I can. And hopefully it makes the championship look quite good at the end.
"I've learned the lessons already on how I perform my best and how I come to each weekend fresh. It's quite fun trying to win races and fight for a championship. I'm just trying to go out there and do my best - now that just means trying to win instead of just scoring points."
2025 Canadian Grand Prix results:
- Winner: George Russell - Mercedes
- Second Place: Max Verstappen - Red Bull Racing
- Third Place: Andrea Kimi Antonelli - Mercedes
