The
2023 Genesis Scottish Open is set to take place at the Renaissance Club in North Berwick, Scotland between 13 and 16 July.
What to know about the tournament
This will be the 41st edition of the event which was formed in 1972 and it was not staged between 1974 and 1985.
It is one of five tournaments that are part of the Rolex Series, which identifies it as one of the European Tour's premier events.
Beginning in 2022, the tournament was co-sanctioned by the PGA Tour and title sponsored by Genesis.

Last year's Scottish Open champion Xander Schauffele will defend against a host of the world's best players as the Rolex Series returns to Renaissance Club.
The tournament is the third of five Rolex Series events in the 2023 DP World Tour schedule and provides the ideal build-up to next week’s Open Championship at Royal Liverpool.
Favourites
Major Champions Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlroy Justin Thomas, Matt Fitzpatrick, Collin Morikawa and Jordan Spieth all return to North Berwick.
They will join Schauffele, multiple DP World Tour winners Viktor Hovland and Tyrrell Hatton, and top ten players Patrick Cantlay and Max Homa.
The list of past champions is filled with major winners, former world number ones and superstars from all over the globe, including Ernie Els, Phil Mickelson and Ian Woosnam, just to name a few.
What Is At Stake
The 2023 Genesis Scottish Open winner will earn 500 FedEx Cup points with the points available based on field strength.
The tournament boasts a purse of $9 million and the winner of the event will earn their share of $1,575 million.
