The
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) 247 is set to take place at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas, USA on Saturday.
A light heavyweight championship bout between current two-time champion Jon Jones and Dominick Reyes is set to serve as the headliner.
American Jones is looking to successfully defend his title for the third time having won it at UFC 232 after defeating Sweden's Alexander Gustafsson.
His countryman, Reyes remains undefeated as a professional mixed martial artist having recorded 12 wins and he's now eyeing his maiden UFC title.
"Dominick Reyes, one of the greatest athletes in Apple Valley history. Being a big fish in a small pond for so long has really gone to his head," Jones said.
"Beating up on cans has got him convinced he’s a better athlete than most of the world.

"If he was so badass he would’ve won the California state wrestling championships, he would’ve gone division one," he added.
"He would have at least made a practice squad for the NFL. This man is delusional."
Meanwhile, a UFC Women's flyweight championship bout between current champion Valentina Shevchenko and Katlyn Chookagian will serve as the co-headliner.
Kyrgyzstani Shevchenko is also looking to successfully defend her title for the third time having won it at UFC 231 after defeating Poland's Joanna Jedrzejczyk.
Her American opponent, Chookagian has won her last two fights defeating Brazilian Jennifer Maia and Scotland's Joanne Calderwood.
