The 2024 Phoenix Open is set to place at the TPC Scottsdale-Stadium in Scottsdale, Arizona, USA between 8 and 11 February 2024.
 
What to know about the tournament 
 
Established in 1932, the PGA tournament was originally named the Arizona Open but has been known for most of its history as the Phoenix Open. 
 
Investment bank Friedman Billings Ramsey became the title sponsor in October 2003, and it was known as the FBR Open for the next six editions.
 
Waste Management, Inc. began its sponsorship in 2010 hence the current name WM Phoenix Open.

Phoenix Open tournament officials have confirmed a star-studded list of professional athletes, celebrities, entertainers, TV personalities, musicians and Olympians that will be on hand to tee it up in the popular Annexus Pro-Am at the WM Phoenix Open.
 
Seven-time NCAA Football National Champion coach Nick Saban, NFL all-time leading rusher Emmitt Smith, two-time Olympic gold medalist Carli Lloyd and Arizona Cardinals all-time leading receiver Larry Fitzgerald have committed to appear at the TPC Scottsdale’s Stadium Course.

The 2024 Phoenix Open field is headlined by the likes of reigning champion Scottie Scheffler, Viktor Hovland, Xander Schauffele, and Max Homa.
 
Grayson Murray and Wyndham Clark who have won tournaments in the current 2024 PGA Tour season will also be part of the 132-player field.
 
Former Phoenix Open champions Hideki Matsuyama, Ricker Fowler and Kevin Stadler will also tee off at the TPC Scottsdale - Stadium Course.
 
What Is At Stake 
 
The 2024 Phoenix Open boasts a purse of $8,8 million and the winner of the event will earn their share of $1,584 million.
 
The winner of this event earns 500 FedEx Cup points and 56 Official World Golf Ranking points, with the points available based on field strength.

 Phoenix Open tournament chairman George Thimsen is looking forward to seeing 2023 FedExCup champion Viktor Hovland and World No. 7 Max Homa competing in the 2024 edition. 
 
“The WM Phoenix Open has always been a huge draw for some of the biggest names in golf and adding Max and Viktor continues that tradition into 2024,” Thimsen said. 
 
“Both of these guys are incredible players coming off extraordinary seasons and we are looking forward to seeing them battle it out in February at ‘The People’s Open.’”
