The Crusaders will look to continue their dominance of the 2019 Super Rugby season when they open Round 11 with a clash at home to the Lions on Friday 26 April.

The rematch from last year’s final sees the New Zealand team chasing a fourth successive win to further consolidate top spot on the overall log, as well as claim a fourth straight victory over the South African contenders.

Saturday sees the remainder of the round completed, starting with the Highlanders away to the Sunwolves in Tokyo, before a New Zealand derby between the Hurricanes and the Chiefs. The ‘Canes will fancy their chances of claiming victory and pushing their rivals further away from the top eight.

The action then moves to Sydney, where the Waratahs will look to give the Sharks a third successive defeat and further establish themselves in the playoff berths, while a South African derby in Cape Town sees the Stormers looking to claim revenge over the Bulls for a heavy defeat back in Round 1.

The round wraps up in Buenos Aires late on Saturday night with the Jaguares at home to the Brumbies. Both teams have enjoyed back-to-back wins coming into the clash, but the Argentine side will believe home advantage gives them the edge.
