Chiefs, Sundowns continue battle for Absa Premiership title

Kaizer Chiefs will be away to Black Leopards as the 2019/20 Absa Premiership action continues.
 

 
The match will take place at the Thohoyandou Stadium in Limpopo on Saturday, January 18.
 
Chiefs will be keen to maintain their lead at the top of the league standings by securing a victory over their Lidoda Duvha.
 
While Leopards will be looking to climb out of the relegation zone with a win over Amakhosi.
 
Ernst Middenddorp, the Chiefs coach, says the team will miss the suspended George Maluleka when they face Leopards.
 
“George Maluleka’s yellow card is a dampener for me. He played well and deserved his Man of the Match award," Middendorp said.
 
"He covered enough ground and was exceptional. It’s a pity he’ll miss a trip to Black Leopards this coming weekend due to this fourth yellow.”



Meanwhile, four-time champions Orlando Pirates will lock horns with Highlands Park on Saturday, January 18.

The match is set to be played at the Orlando Stadium in Johannesburg.

Their visitors, Sundowns are keen to keep their hopes of retaining the league title alive with a victory over Matsatsantsa.
