Marko Grujic, the Porto midfielder, is optimistic that they can defeat Chelsea and qualify for the semi-finals.

“It’s difficult to analyse this, as Chelsea got a good result, but we didn’t deserve to concede these two goals," Grujic said.

"Especially in the second-half, when we had more opportunities and they were the ones scoring; it’s hard to explain. Next week, we meet here again, there’s no home factor.

"If they can score two goals, so can we, anything is possible,  but we will have to play in Tondela before that and then be prepared for Seville, as nothing is impossible.”

The last time Chelsea hosted Atletico in a competitive match was on 9 December 2015.

Chelsea secured a 2-0 victory over Porto in the Champions League Group G match at the Stamford Bridge Stadium.
