Can Ronaldo Step Up For Portugal Once Again?

The English Premier League. La Liga. The European Championships. The Champions League. The Ballon d’Or (x4). The Super Cup. The Club World Cup. Cristiano Ronaldo has won practically all there is to win in the game, but he could tick another off his list this week.

It’s time for me to make my Betway picks for this week, and there are a couple of tasty Confederations Cup games on the horizon tonight and tomorrow evening as Portugal take on Chile and Germany face Mexico. So in terms of the actual games themselves,

I’m picking the Portuguese and the Germans. A R100 bet on those two will win you R500, and I think they’re good picks because not only are they unbeaten, but they’re also the highest scoring teams in the competition with seven each. I’m pretty confident that Die Mannschaft will roll over the Mexicans, but the Chileans will be a much tougher test for CR7 and Co.

None of the four teams have lost any of their matches so far, so I doubt we’ll see a walkover in either. Interestingly, Mexico are the only remaining team to have won the tournament before (back in 1999), but they’re probably the least likely to clinch the title out of the four remaining nations.

Anyway, onto the goalscorers, we’re all putting money on Ronaldo to score, right? He’s already got two and he is literally Portugal’s talisman. Make it a double and put a bet on him and Julian Draxler – Germany’s penalty taker – as anytime goalscorers and you’ll make over 5x what you put down.

Just a reminder, if you do want to sign up and follow me into my bets this week, use my sign up code ‘Joe’ and I’m working on hooking some nice specials up for you in the future.

You can follow the banners for a quick link to my picks, too. Good luck, Viva Portugal and Germany!
