The Milwaukee Bucks will look to claim the scalp of the Los Angeles Lakers when the teams meet in a
2020-21 NBA Regular Season game at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on the morning of 22 January 2021, with tip-off at 02:00 CAT.
The Bucks come into the clash on a run of fine form, though there is room for improvement – particularly in terms of their free throw conversion. Reigning two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo landed just one of 10 free throws in a 112-109 win over the Dallas Mavericks this past weekend.

"It's simple," said Antetokounmpo. "Just go back. Shoot more. Focus on your technique. Take it step by step. Just shoot more. That's it. The more you shoot, the more you work on it, the better you get. There's no secret in that."
The Lakers, meanwhile, are also looking in ominous form, with no sign that they are taking the defence of their NBA championship lightly. Star man LeBron James, meanwhile, has backed himself as the top shooter on the team.
"I mean, we got a lot of great shooters on the team, man," James said, before adding: "Obviously, if someone says, 'Bet,' then obviously you guys know, I'm going to take myself. That's just the competitive nature in me and the work ethic that I put into my shot. But I feel real good with my shot right now, both from the free throw line and also from the 3-point line, and I want to continue that."
In head-to-head terms, the Bucks and the Lakers have met in 138 Regular Season games since 1968-69. The Los Angeles franchise has claimed 82 wins compared to Milwaukee's 56.
The teams' Regular Season meetings in 2019-20 saw the Bucks win 111-104 at home in December 2019 before a 113-103 revenge win for the Lakers in March 2020.
