The 2018 Russian Grand Prix is set to be held between 29 and 30 September in Sochi this weekend.
 
Bottas looks to defend Russian Grand Prix title

This will be the 16th round of this year's Championship and it will take place at the at Sochi Autodrom – a street circuit built around Olympic Park.
 
Mercedes driver Valtteri Bottas is the defending champion having won the 2017 Russian Grand Prix.
 
Ferrari duo Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Räikkönen finished second, and third respectively. 
 


Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton has a 40-point lead over second-placed Vettel in the Drivers' Championship standings.
 
Hamilton won the recent 2018 Singapore Grand Pix ahead of Max Verstappen of Red Bull Racing and Vettel. 
 
In the World Constructors' Championship, Mercedes are leading Ferrari by 37 points with six races left.
 
Hamilton is the most successful driver in the history of the Russian Grand Prix having won two titles.
 
The last four Russian Grand Prix titles have been won by a Mercedes driver.
