Bayern Munich will welcome Borussia Monchengladbach in a
German Bundesliga match at the Allianz Arena on June 13.
The Bavarians are coming off a 4-2 win over Bayer Leverkusen away in their previous league match which was played on June 06.
It was Bayern's ninth consecutive league victory and they are also undefeated in their last 16 matches in the competition.
Furthermore, Bayern are undefeated in their last eight home matches in the Bundesliga having registered seven victories and one draw.
Meanwhile, Monchengladbach succumbed to a 1-0 defeat to Freiburg away in their previous match which was played on June 05.
The defeat ended Foals' two-match unbeaten run in the league having registered one draw with Werder Bremen and one victory against Union Berlin.
The loss against Freiburg also ended their five-match unbeaten run on the road in the Bundesliga having recorded three wins and two draws away from home.
Yann Sommer, the Monchengladbach goalkeeper, is confident that they can secure a win against the defending champions Bayern.
"We invested a lot into the game, playing with real energy and power. We actually put in a good performance I thought," Sommer said.
"But we went to sleep for one minute. We still have four more games and want to bounce back next week in Munich by picking up points."
The last time Bayern took on Monchengladbach in a league match was on 7 December 2019. The Foals stunned the Bavarians 2-1 in a match which was played at Borussia Park.
