Umpires: Adrian Holdstock (SA) and Ruchira Palliyaguruge (SL) South Africa will take on Bangladesh in the second ODI match at the Boland Bank Park in Paarl on Wednesday.

The Proteas are heading into this encounter having won the first ODI by 10 wickets at the De Beers Diamond Oval in Kimberley on Sunday. South African duo De Kock (168 not out) and Amla (110 not out) put on an unbeaten 282 to overhaul Bangladesh’s 278 for seven with 7.1 overs to spare. They set a new record for the highest partnership for any wicket for South Africa in ODIs.

On Wednesday, the Proteas' bowling attack will be spearheaded by Kagiso Rabada, who took 4-43 in the first ODI. Bangladesh's Tigers will look to Mushfiqur Rahim, who is their test cricket captain. The 30-year-old became the first batsman for Bangladesh to score an international century against South Africa in any format on Sunday. Another player to look out for in the Tigers team is Shakib Al Hasan, who made 29 and conceded 48 runs in eight overs on Sunday. He became the fastest player to score 5,000 runs and take 200 wickets in ODIs last weekend.
