Jorge Martin will be hoping to record his second victory of the
2023 MotoGP season when he takes part in the British Grand Prix.

The Ducati (Prima Pramac Racing) rider missed out on a podium spot at the recent 2023 Dutch MotoGP on June 25 as he finished fifth.
Martin, who is nicknamed the Martinator, started 10th on the grid and he went on to finish fifth as he collected 11 important points.
2022 British MotoGP
Martinator finished fifth at last year's British Grand Prix having started ninth on the grid as he missed out on a podium spot.
It was the Spanish Grand Prix motorcycle racer's best performance in this race as he was forced to retire in his debut appearance in 2021.
Why Martin could win the 2023 British MotoGP
Martin is placed second on the riders' standings as he hopes to go all the way and clinch his maiden MotoGP world title for the first time.
The Madrid-born star will be eager to put pressure on the riders' standings leader Francesco Bagnaia of Ducati by winning the British MotoGP.
What did he say?
“I tried to be super-close [to Aleix Espargaro] and when you have someone in front, you don’t see too much, just their bike," Martin said after the 2023 Dutch MotoGP.
"That’s why maybe the last lap was the only time I touched the green today. I think it was the same [as Brad Binder's mistake]; a [one place] penalty, but the rider behind was ten seconds away so it made no sense to give me ten seconds for that.
“But also because of that [mistake], I did not try so much after, because they [FIM Stewards] would put me back [one place] again. I did this mistake, that’s why I didn’t try [to overtake Aleix], but I think even trying it was going to be really difficult.”
