Valencia vs Sevilla
Valencia will target an upset win over Sevilla when the teams meet at Estadio de Mestalla on Tuesday 22 December 2020, kick-off is at 18:30. The match is one of 10 spread over 22-23 December as part of Matchday 15 in the
2020-21 LaLiga season.
Valencia come into the clash on the back of a 2-2 draw away to Barcelona on December 19, with goals from Mouctar Diakhaby and Maximiliano Gomez extending their unbeaten run to three matches in LaLiga.

"I am quite positive," said Valencia coach Javi Gracia. "We are always thinking on the positive side of things, we work with that spirit. I don't know if it [the draw with Barca] will be a turning point, I think that we came during the last games, many of them, to be closer to victory than to lose them."
Sevilla, meanwhile, were held 1-1 at home by Real Valladolid on December 19, with Lucas Ocampos' first-half penalty cancelled out by a late equaliser from Raul Gracia to end a run of three straight wins across all competitions for the Andalusia team.
"This is not the time to look at the table, but we surely have a bitter taste for losing two points today," said Sevilla manager Julen Lopetegui. "The team did not keep up their performance from the first half to the second. We now logically look to the next game away to Valencia, which will be a challenging one."
In head-to-head stats, Valencia and Sevilla have met in 55 matches across all competitions since 1993. Los Che have claimed 25 wins compared to 20 for Los Nervionenses, while 10 matches have been drawn.
Sevilla took four points off Sevilla last season, drawing 1-1 at Estadio de Mestalla in October 2019 before a 1-0 win in the return game at Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan in July 2020 thanks to a strike from Sergio Reguilon.
