World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler is set to make his third appearance for the United States at the
2025 Ryder Cup from 26-28 September 2025.
The American was part of the team that lost to Europe in 2023 by a score of 16½ to 11½ after he earned just one point from his four matches.
Scheffler's overall record now stands at two wins, two losses and three ties, having played a major role in USA's 2021 Ryder Cup success when he claimed 2.5 points.
The 29-year-old has enjoyed an outstanding season, winning the Byron Nelson, the PGA Championship, the Memorial Tournament, the Open Championship, the BMW Championship and the Procore Championship.
Scheffler secured another 11 top 10's this year, narrowly missing out on what would have been a 20th PGA Tour victory when he finished T2 in the Houston Open.
The four-time majors winner believes his triumph in the Procore Championship on September 14 has given him a confidence booster for the Ryder Cup.
"I always focus as much as I can on my preparation going into tournaments, that's what gives me confidence, and I feel like I'm as prepared as possible for the Ryder Cup," Scheffler said.
"I think we're all excited for the tournament to get started. We've got three days in New York to compete and have fun. We're all looking forward to it."
