With the road to the NBA finals in full swing, the Detroit Pistons aim to secure their second win over the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 2 of their respective NBA Conference semi-final duties at the Little Caesars Arena on Friday.
Cade Cunningham led the Pistons' 111-101 victory against the Cavs on Wednesday, scoring 23 points followed by an impressive 20 from Tobias Harris at the Little Caesars Arena.
A notable aspect of the game was the Detroit side recording 20 turnovers, which accumulated 31 points against the defensive prowess of Donovan Mitchell and James Harden.
The Pistons topped the Eastern Conference this season, winning 60 matches for the top seed, while the Cavaliers ended their regular campaign in fourth with 52 victories.

In concerning news for the Cavaliers, Sam Merrill might miss the upcoming game due to a hamstring injury. Merrill has been a standout player for the Cavaliers this season, who recorded a 42.1% success rate from 3-point attempts.
"I don't want to give you anything definite," Cavaliers coach Kenny Atkinson said when assessing his player’s injury.
"We need to make threes to win this series. They pack the paint and we've got to make threes. He's a big part of that. Hoping he's back."
