After clinching his first PGA Championship earlier this month,Scottie Scheffler will now head into the
PGA Memorial as the favourite to land the coveted trophy.
What do know about
As the current world number one, Scheffler will look to win his fourth major win of his career at the PGA Memorial in Ohio.
Having held the number one spot for over 100 weeks, Scheffler won the Masters Tournament on two occasions (2022 & 2024), while he recently bagged the 2025 PGA Championship.
What did he say
“This golf course will keep you on your toes,” Scheffler regarding his win at the PGA Masters.
“It was weird because at 7, 8, 9, I felt like I hit really good tee shots. And I looked up and it was 30 yards left where I was looking which was a bit unsual. Making the turn, I kind of squared my shoulders up and I hit a really good tee ball at 10, a really good tee ball at 11. After that, I did a really good job at executing on a lot of fairways, a lot of greens. Played a really good nine holes when I really needed too.”
