Aryna Sabalenka will be looking to win her fourth singles Grand Slam title by clinching Wimbledon at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club.

What to know about Sabalenka

The Belarusian superstar has won 20 WTA Tour-level singles titles, including three majors at the 2023 Australian Open, 2024 Australian Open, and 2024 US Open, as well as nine WTA 1000 events.

Sanalenka has also won six doubles titles, including two majors at the 2019 US Open and 2021 Australian Open, both partnering with Elise Mertens.

News

The last time Sabalenka was in action was at the 2025 Berlin Tennis Open, where she was eliminated by Czech Republic's Markéta Vondroušová in the semi-finals on June 21.

The 27-year-old has a career-high ranking of world No. 1 in singles by the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) and it is her current position coming into the 2025 Wimbledon.

Why Sabalenka could win Wimbledon

The Minsk-born athlete will be determined to go one step further and win a Grand Slam title after finishing as the runner-up at the recent 2025 French Open.

Sabalenka, who boasts three singles grand slam titles, will also be keen to show why she is ranked as the best female tennis player in the world at the moment.

What was said

She's a very tricky player, has a good touch and a lot of slices," Sabalenka said of Vondroušová after their 2025 Berlin Tennis semi-final clash.

Her game fits perfectly on grass; it's going to be a tough challenge, but I'm excited to face her. I'm looking forward [to it] and cannot wait.
