Xander Schauffele will be eager to register his second victory of the ongoing 2024 PGA Tour season by clinching the
Memorial Tournament title.
What to know about Schauffele
The American star has won 11 professional tournaments and he has won one golf major so far in his career which was the 2024 PGA Championship.
Schauffele, who has eight wins in the PGA Tour, won the Olympic gold medal at the men's individual golf event of the 2020 Summer Olympics.

The 30-year-old has been out of action since he won the 2024 PGA Championship after he held off Bryson DeChambeau and Viktor Hovland.
Schauffele is placed second on the Official World Golf Rankings (OWGR) and it is also his best overall ranking is fourth.
Why Schauffele is among the favourites
Since turning professional in 2015, Schauffele has recorded 114 top-25 finishes, five coming at the Memorial Tournament over six starts, his best in 2021 with a T11 effort.
The San Diego-born golfer is in great form at the moment having finished second at the 2024 Wells Fargo Championship before winning the PGA Championship.

“I don't think I'd ever look at it as lacking,” Schauffele said when asked about his game after shooting a final-round 65 to win the PGA Championship by a shot.
“I looked at it as someone that is trying really hard and needs more experience. All those close calls for me,” he added, “even last week, that sort of feeling, it gets to you at some point.
"It just makes this even sweeter.”
