Cagliari will host Torino in a
2020-21 Serie A relegation six-pointer at Sardegna Arena on Friday evening.

Gli Isolani are winless in 15 matches and have lost eight of their last 1, but will move out of the relegation zone with victory over Torino.
Cagliari looked on course for at least a point at home to Atalanta this past weekend but conceded a stoppage-time goal in a 1-0 loss.
“It’s a pity, because we keep putting in these excellent performances, we allowed Atalanta no shots on target for 70 minutes, we dominated the first half, yet we once again ended the game empty-handed,” Cagliari head coach Eusebio Di Francesco told Sky Sport Italia.
“If you are concentrated for 93 minutes, then you make an error at the 94th, it all counts for nothing. My experience must help me to clear out the negativity and learn from the positive aspects, giving us even more determination and the grit to finish chances. I liked the tactics and the movement today, we just needed a pinch more quality.”
“It’s immensely disappointing, as we wanted to give them joy. The only positive is the attitude we had today, but the next match is going to be a battle and we’ve got to give it everything against Torino.”
Granata have drawn their last five matches and are winless in seven following a goalless stalemate at home to Genoa last time out.
Toro occupy 17th spot on the league standings, two points above Cagliari and the relegation zone.

Giovanni Simeone scored a brace for Cagliari in a 3-2 win in Turin earlier this season. Andrea Belotti scored twice for the hosts but couldn't help them avoid defeat.
