Atalanta look to join Serie A title race

Atalanta will be looking to join the race for the Serie A title when they host Bologna at the Gewiss Stadium on July 21.
 
The Goddess are undefeated in their last seven home matches in the league having recorded one draw and six wins as hosts.
 
Atalanta, who are seven points behind the league log leaders Juventus, thumped Brescia 6-2 in their last home match which was played on July 12.

While Juventus will be looking to extend their lead at the top of the log when they face Udinese at the Dacia Arena on July 23.
 
Juventus are winless in their last two away matches in the league having recorded a draw and a defeat on the road.
 
The defending champions were held to a 3-3 draw by a resilient Sassuolo side in their last away game which was played on July 15.
 
Maurizio Sarri, the Juventus manager, says they need to improve ahead of their clashes with Lazio and Udinese.
 
“A coach demands continuity from his team and at this moment we struggle to maintain it, both from a physical and mental point of view," Sarri said.
 
"We have to solve the problem of these ups and downs, which is a situation that almost all teams are having right now, with few exceptions. If we solve this problem, the path is the right one."
 
Meanwhile, Lazio, who are placed fourth on the league standings, will play host to Cagliari at Stadio Olimpico on July 23.
 
The Eagles succumbed to a surprise 2-1 defeat to an impressive Sassuolo side in their last home which was played on July 11.
 
As a result, Laizo are now winless in their last two matches at home in the league having recorded two successive defeats.
 
Lastly, Inter Milan, who are placed second on the standings, are set to welcome Fiorentina at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza on July 22.
 
The Big Grass Snake thumped a hapless Torino side 3-1 in their last home match which was played on July 13.
 
As a result, Inter returned to winning ways at home in the league with Bologna having recently ended their 10-match unbeaten run at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.
