Real Betis will be wary of the threat posed by Girona when they go head-to-head at Montilivi on Tuesday, April 21.
El Glorioso are fighting to hang onto the Europa League berth after failing to win their last seven La Liga matches and picking up just five points in the process.
Manuel Pellegrini's side were held to a 1-1 draw by Osasuna on April 12, although none of their challengers were able to take advantage.
Celta Vigo (6th) and Getafe (8th) both lost, while Real Sociedad (7th) also drew which left Betis two points clear of the chasing pack with nine games left to play.

The Blanquivermells found the going tough in the first half of the season, recording just three wins before the festive break.
But Michel's side have enjoyed a resurgence in the new year and they've beaten Barcelona and Villarreal before further denting Real Madrid's title hopes with a 1-1 draw most recently on April 10.
The Catalan outfit have collected 23 points out of a possible 42 in 2026 to lift them up to 12th place and they're in a three-way tie with Athletic Bilbao (11th) and Espanyol (10th) on 38 points.

Michel hailed the "huge effort" his players put in at the Bernabeu to deny Los Blancos all three points and stressed the importance of the result to Girona in retaining their top-flight status.
"Real Madrid have incredible quality; they were the better side and created more chances, but we defended well," he said.
"The point is the most important thing from the match, and I'm very happy with the huge effort the players put in.
"After they scored, the pressure was intense, but Thomas Lemar's moment of brilliance got us the equaliser. A point here comes at a cost."
