Chiefs, SuperSport headline DStv Prem action

A Gauteng Derby match between Kaizer Chiefs and SuperSport United will headline DStv Premiership's weekend action. 
 
Chiefs will face SuperSport at the 1996 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) final venue, FNB Stadium on September 17. 
 
Amakhosi are winless in their last three matches in the Premiership having drawn 0-0 with Marumo Gallants away in their last game on September 11.
 
However, the Soweto giants are undefeated in their last six home matches in the league having recorded three victories and three draws. 
 
Chiefs will face a SuperSport side that is unbeaten in their last four matches having edged out Maritzburg United 2-1 away in their previous match on September 9.
 
Matsatsantsa are also undefeated in their last two away matches having registered two consecutive victories as the visitors.

Meanwhile, Mamelodi Sundowns will be targeting a victory when they host AmaZulu FC at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium on September 18.
 
Masandawana are undefeated in their last two matches in the DStv Premiership having secured a 2-1 win over Lamontville Golden Arrows at home on September 10.
 
The Tshwane giants are also enjoying a three-match unbeaten run at home in the competition having recorded three consecutive wins.
 
Their visitors, AmaZulu are winless in their last three matches in the league having lost 2-1 to Chippa United at home in their previous game on September 10.
 
However, Usuthu are undefeated in their last seven away matches in this competition having recorded four draws and three victories as the visitors.
 
“There are so many things to work on going forward, especially with the Sundowns match coming as well,” AmaZulu head coach Brandon Truter said. 
 
“I'm not happy with some of the performances, but we will see where we can fine-tune it. I keep preaching about mentality, and the will to win.
 
“If the mentality is not right heading to the game and disrespecting the opponent, you'll always get a reaction and the reaction we got today was a goal down," he added.
 
“There's a lot to work on. The majority of the guys on the park are experienced players, so there are certain situations they can and should have managed better."
 
Lastly, Stellenbosch FC will travel to the Peter Mokaba Stadium where they are set to face Sekhukhune United on September 17.
 
Stellies ended their three-match winless run in the league when they claimed a 2-1 win over Swallows FC away in their previous game on September 10.
 
The win over Swallows also ended the Western Cape side's three-match winless run on the road in this competition having recorded two draws and one defeat. 
 
Their hosts, Sekhukhune are winless in their last five matches in the Premiership having drawn 0-0 with Cape Town City away on September 6.
 
Babina Noko are also winless in their last two matches at home in the league having registered one draw and one defeat as the hosts.
