Vodacom Bulls are set to take on Xerox Lions in an epic Gauteng Derby clash at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium on January 23.
The Bulls eased into the semi-finals after finishing at the top of the Currie Cup standings with 39 points from 12 matches.
The Pretoria giants, who have won 23 Currie Cups, registered eight wins, one draw and three defeats in the group stage.
However, the Bulls succumbed to a 44-14 defeat to Phakisa Pumas away in their last game on the final round of the group stage on January 10.
They are undefeated in their last eight matches at home having recorded an impressive eight successive victories.

Elrigh Louw, the Bulls lock and flanker, believes their captain Duane Vermeulen could be key to them winning the match against the Lions.
“Duane is amazing. He’s very calm and he has the type of aura you can draw energy from,” Louw said.
“When he speaks, everyone listens, and it’s awesome to play under him as captain. There’s no better guy to learn from.
"Growing up, there wasn’t really one guy I based my play on, but Duane was one of my role models along with Richie McCaw and Schalk Burger.”
Meanwhile, Lions booked their place in the semi-finals after finishing fourth on the Curries Cup standings with 34 points from 12 matches.
The Johannesburg giants, who have lifted the Currie Cup 11 times, recorded six wins, two draws and four defeats in the group stage.
The Lions ended their group stage campaign with a 22-15 defeat to the Bulls away on January 6.
The defeat to the Bulls ended the Lions' three-match unbeaten run on the road having registered three consecutive defeats.
The last competitive match meeting between Bulls and Lions was on 6 January 2021.
The Bulls emerged 22-15 winners over their Gauteng rivals Lions in a game which was played at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium.
