Following a positive start to life in his second stint of Real Madrid, Jose Mourinho and his charges will now shift their attention to Real Betis during matchday four in La Liga with the ‘Special One’ targeting more clean sheets in the future.
Madrid will head into their next match with a 100%-win rate to their name and occupy second spot after three matches played.
Los Blancos noted an impressive 4-0 win over Malaga last time out as they jotted down their first clean sheet of the 2026/27 campaign. Prior to their assignment against Malaga, Madrid secured a 2-1 win over Espanyol in their first league game, which was followed by a 4-1 victory over Real Sociedad.
Betis on the other hand, suffered a 5-2 loss against Levante in their most recent game, ending a two-match winning streak.
Amid wins over Real Sociedad and Betis to start the season, Betis are seventh on the log with six points to their name.

Speaking after Madrid’s win over Malaga, Mourinho stressed the importance of keeping clean sheets following their first shutout of the campaign.
Known for his defensive tactical prowess, Mourinho mentioned that their immediate mandate in the game was to see out the result unscathed at the back.
“Our goal was to finish the match without conceding,” Mourinho said.
“We cannot always play offensively; sometimes, we must defend well when the opponent presses.
“These three crucial points were vital.”
