Stellenbosch FC and Sekhukhune United will both be targeting home victories in the DStv Premiership this Wednesday, 27 October.

Stellies, who remain undefeated this season, are set to play host to Marumo Gallants at the Danie Craven Stadium in Stellenbosch.

The Western Cape-based side recorded their second successive draw when they drew 1-1 with Swallows FC away in their last game on October 17.

They are also undefeated in their last four home matches in the DStv Premiership having recorded two consecutive wins and two successive draws.

“It was more of a cagey affair than I had hoped it would be, but in saying that we did try to change things in the last 30 minutes by going to a back four and a 4-2-3-1, hoping that would spark something, but it didn’t," Stellenbosch coach Steve Barker said after their draw with Swallows.

“But another good point away from home for us, we have now played five of our seven games in the road, but it only becomes a good point if we win our next home game against Marumo Gallants.

“It was a good effort from the team, I just felt we could have taken the game more by the scruff of the neck and been a bit more adventurous and courageous in our play.”

They will face a struggling Gallants side that remains winless in the league this term having drawn 2-2 with Royal AM at home in their previous game on October 19.

Bahlabane Ba Ntwa have also been bad travelers in the competition having registered three successive defeats on the road.

Gallants' Limpopo rivals, Sekhukhune will be looking to continue to impress in their debut season in the local top-flight league when they host AmaZulu FC at Emirates Airlines Park in Johannesburg.

Sekhukhune extended their unbeaten run to three matches in the DStv Premiership when they defeated Cape Town City 1-0 at home on October 16.

Babina Noko are also undefeated in their last three home matches having recorded two successive draws and one victory as the hosts.

They will be up against an AmaZulu side that is unbeaten in their last six matches in the league having defeated TS Galaxy 1-0 away in their previous game on October 19.

Usuthu are also unbeaten in their last two games on the road in this competition having registered one draw and one victory as the visitors.
