SS Lazio will lock horns with Inter Milan in an Italian
Serie A match at the Stadio Olimpico on October 16.
The Eagles suffered an embarrassing 3-0 loss to Bologna away in their previous league match which was played on October 3.
The defeat ended Lazio's three-match unbeaten run in this competition having registered one victory and two successive draws.

However, the Eagles are undefeated in their last 16 home matches in Serie A having recorded two draws and 14 victories at Stadio Olimpico.
Meanwhile, Inter claimed a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Sassuolo away in their previous league match which was played on October 2.
Therefore, the Big Grass Snake are undefeated in their last eight matches in this competition having recorded two draws and six wins.
Inter also are undefeated in their last four away matches in the league having registered three victories and one draw.

“We're getting [Alexis] Sanchez and [Joaquin] Correa back now so we have to do a good job of rotating everyone," Inter manager Simone Inzaghi said after their win over Sassuolo.
“We've played seven games in three weeks. The fixtures are relentless but we know that's how it is nowadays. It's the same for us as it is for the other teams playing in Europe.
"It's very difficult but it's my job to rotate the squad at my disposal. We have to get used to it because this is the pace of the modern game.”
The last meeting between Lazio and Inter in a league game was on 14 February 2021.
Inter ran out 3-1 winners over Lazio in a match that was played at the largest stadium in Italy, Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.
