La Liga
Matchday 10
Celta Vigo vs Real Betis
Balaidos
Vigo, Spain
Sunday, 25 October 2026
Kick-off is at 17:15
Following a heavy defeat in their latest La Liga assignment, Real Betis will aim to return to winning ways when they take on Celta Vigo away this weekend.
Betis has been one of the best-performing teams in the Spanish La Liga this season and will head into their next game sitting in fourth position with 19 points from nine matches played so far.
Despite their lofty position, Betis suffered a 5-2 home defeat against in-form Barcelona last Saturday, ending their five-match unbeaten streak.
However, Betis can rely on their overall form this season, having secured three wins, one draw and a single defeat in their last five games. Celta Vigo on the other hand, are unbeaten in their last six league ties with their latest result being a 2-1 home win against Alaves during matchday nine.
Despite their unbeaten run, Betis have only secured two wins from their previous six matches, with four draws contributing to their 11-point tally in eighth position.

Speaking after Betis’ loss against Barcelona, Manuel Pellegrini expressed frustration at refereeing decisions that went against them and felt ‘helpless’ regarding his side’s inability to earn a positive result.
"A feeling of helplessness," Pellegrini said.
"The scoreline does not reflect what the game was like. There were a series of incomprehensible and inexplicable decisions.
“We were reduced to 10 men and had a goal disallowed, It was absurd.”
