Ethiopia will go head to head with South Africa in a
2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifier - Group G match on October 09.
Walia Ibex emerged 1-0 winners over Zimbabwe at home in their previous game which was a Group G match on September 07.
The win saw Ethiopia return to winning ways after Ghana ended their two-match unbeaten run across all competitions having recorded a win and one draw.

Walia Ibex are undefeated in their last six home matches having registered five victories and one draw.
Meanwhile, South Africa defeated Ghana 1-0 at home in their last match which was a Group G game on September 06.
The result extended Bafana Bafana's unbeaten run to nine matches across all competitions having recorded seven wins and two draws.
However, South Africa are winless in their last two matches on the road having registered one defeat and one draw as the visitors.
Bafana's teenage sensation Ethan Brooks stressed the importance of winning their matches against Ethiopia.
“I am just really excited to go out there and showcase my talent, if I am given an opportunity to play," Brooks said.
“It is very important that we do win these two matches, as it will help us in terms of the [points] log and wanting to qualify."
The last meeting between Ethiopia and South Africa was on 16 June 2013.
Walia Ibex ran out 2-1 winners over Bafana in the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifier which was played at the Addis Ababa Stadium in Ethiopia.
