Shakhtar Donetsk will go head to head with Real Madrid in an
UEFA Champions League Group D match on October 19.
The Ukrainian giants frustrated Italian champions Inter Milan at home in their last Group D game which ended in a 0-0 draw on September 28.
The draw extended Donetsk's winless run to three matches in this competition having recorded one defeat and two draws.

However, Donetsk are unbeaten in their last four matches at home in the Champions League having registered two successive draws and two consecutive wins as the hosts.
Meanwhile, Madrid suffered a shock 2-1 defeat to Moldovan champions Sherif Tiraspol at home in their last game in Group D on September 28.
The Spanish giants have now lost two of their last three matches in the Champions League, while the other game ended in a victory.
However, Madrid ended their two-match winless run on the road in this competition when they defeated Inter Milan in their last away match.

“We’re feeling down rather than being worried because we had the chance to have got the three points," Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti said as he reacted to their shock defeat to Sherif.
"The team did its job and played with great intensity and commitment and the fine margins have ended up costing us the game.
"We had lots of chances and could have done better in the final 30 metres. It’s difficult to explain the defeat when you look at the performance we put in."
The last meeting between Donetsk and Madrid in a Champions League match was on 01 December 2020.
Donetsk emerged 2-0 winners over Madrid in a match which was played at the NSK Olimpiyskiy in Ukraine.
