Athletic Bilbao will lock horns with Villarreal CF in a
Spanish La Liga match at the San Mames Barria on October 23.
The Lions emerged 1-0 winners over Deportivo Alaves at home in their previous league game which was played on October 1.
As a result, Bilbao are unbeaten in their last two matches in this competition having recorded one draw and one victory.

The Lions have won two of their last three home matches in La Liga, while the other game ended in a defeat at their home ground, San Mames Barria.
Meanwhile, Villarreal succumbed to a 2-1 defeat to CA Osasuna at home in their previous league encounter which was played on October 17.
The defeat ended the Yellow Submarine's seven-match unbeaten run in this competition having recorded two wins and five victories.
Villarreal are winless in their last five matches on the road in La Liga having registered four successive draws and one defeat as the visitors.

"All defeats are tough. We came from the last games where, from the praise, certain confusions could come, and today some have appeared. It has also been their merit," Villarreal manager Unai Emery said after the defeat to Osasuna.
"We knew that we had to be patient to find spaces and to mature the game towards our side. We have not been forceful in the defensive phase, especially in the second plays "
“We are with 11 points in LaLiga. We have one less party that can be used to hook us up with those at the top. We are going to move on from the praise, but also from the frustrations that do not bring us anything positive. On Wednesday we have an important game."
The last meeting between Bilbao and Villarreal in a league match was on 21 February 2021.
