Adam Svensson is the most recent of seven past champions making their return to the RSM Classic in the final event of the FedExCup Fall from November 20-23.
The Canadian claimed his only PGA Tour win to date when he carded a 19-under 263 to beat Brian Harman, Callum Tarren and Sahith Theegala by two strokes in 2022.
Svensson needs to repeat the feat this year if he hopes to crack the top 100 in the FedExCup which will give him full exempt status for next season.
The 31-year-old was last in action at the Butterfield Bermuda Championship, but he missed the cut - the 15th time he has done so in the 27 tournaments he's played in this year.
Svensson has no top-10 finishes in 2025, with his best performance coming at the 3M Open when he shot a course-record 60 to take the lead in the opening round before having to settle for T14.
He admitted to having struggled this season, making good starts like in Blaine, Minnesota, only to fade away in the latter rounds.
"It's been a rough year but it's golf, it's very difficult," Svensson said. "I feel like I start off good and then kind of dwindle a little bit."
