2025/26 Premier League
Matchday 13
Manchester City v Leeds United
Etihad Stadium
Manchester, England
Saturday, 29 November 2025
Kick-off is at 17h00
Manchester City will be looking to add to Leeds United's misery when they meet in the Premier League clash at the Etihad Stadium on 29 November.
Current Form
The Citizens suffered a 2-1 defeat to Newcastle United away on 22 November as their two-match unbeaten run in the league came to an end.
However, City are undefeated in their last five home matches in the Premier League, having recorded five back-to-back victories at the Etihad Stadium.
Meanwhile, Leeds succumbed to a 2-1 defeat to Aston Villa at home on 23 November as they extended their winless run to three matches in the league, which they all lost.
The Peacocks are also winless in their last three matches on the road in the Premier League, having recorded three consecutive defeats as the away side.
Team News
Mateo Kovacic and Rodri are still the only players on City's injury list at the moment and there are no suspension concerns for the former Premier League champions.
On the other hand, Leeds have Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Sebastiaan Bornauw, and Anton Stach on their injury list, but the club does not have suspension concerns.
Quotes
“I wasn’t really happy in the last away games but performance-wise, I don’t have too much to complain about today because this was how we want to be – brave, aggressive, with confidence," Leeds manager Daniel Farke said after his side's defeat to Villa.
“I think conceding these two goals was decisive today. We put a fight in, [Emi] Martínez, another unbelievable save against Pascal Struijk, another goal disallowed. So, performance-wise, we would have deserved to win points out of this today but we had it already a few times during the season.
"We were pretty unfortunate in these terms.”
Head-to-Head
City claimed a 2-1 win over Leeds in their last meeting in the league, which was in May 2023 at the Etihad Stadium.
Therefore, the Citizens are undefeated in their last four matches in the Premier League against the Peacocks, having recorded four consecutive wins.
