After claiming the Serie A Scudetto with a couple of games to spare, Inter Milan could extend their current win streak when they take on Verona on Sunday.
With the penultimate game of the 2025/26 Serie A season on the horizon, Inter are currently coming off an impressive 3-0 away win against Lazio, increasing their lead in first position to five points over second-placed Napoli.
Boasting the best attacking record of the campaign, Inter has scored a mammoth 85 goals so far, accumulating 85 points from 36 matches. With the season heading toward a close, Inter recorded four wins and one draw in their last five league games.
Verona, who have already been relegated to Serie B, currently have 20 points after 36 fixtures.
Sitting on a recent 1-0 loss to Como during Matchday 36, Verona recorded three losses and two draws in their last handful of ties and have been cemented in 19th position for the campaign.

Speaking after Inter’s recent win over Lazio, Cristian Chivu believes that while Lautaro Martinez has been a star performer this season, the rest of the squad deserves credit for their input en-route to claiming the league title.
“It is the merit of everyone, not just Lautaro Martinez,” Chivu said.
“He puts in soul, professionalism and seriousness and gives everything he has. But it is also the merit of his teammates who follow him, especially in doing certain things. It is a fantastic group and team living something special. I am happy for them because they deserve it.”
